Heather Bock

Project Director

Heather Bock graduated with High Honors from FLCC where she received an A.S. in Liberal Arts and Science.  She went on to earn a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Environmental Science from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where she conducted undergraduate research on campus and at Cornell University New York State Agricultural Experiment Station (NYSAES).  Bock then worked as a Senior Research Support Specialist at SUNY Upstate Medical University.  During her time at Upstate she researched vertebrate retinal development, and her work has led to the publication of a Xenopus laevis transgenesis method. Most recently, Bock completed a Masters of Science in Management (MSM) at Keuka College where she conducted an action research project on the prevalence of STEM undergraduate research at community colleges.
