Summer Research Experiences

The National Science Foundation (NSF) funds a large number of research opportunities for undergraduate students through its Research Experiences Undergraduate (REU) program. REU sites run these experiences in the summer and students are granted stipends and in many cases housing and travel assistance.

You can find out more information about REU sites and applications through the NSF website: https://www.nsf.gov/crssprgm/reu/index.jsp

CCURI has taken the NSF REU listings and created an excel file listing all REU opportunities. Those that specifically indicate interest in applications from community college students have been highlighted in orange. You can download the file by clicking here: REU Database File

Publication Opportunities

Students can submit undergraduate research finding to undergraduate research journals. Below lists undergraduate research journals that are known to accept work by community college students.
